Good news: kosher Jews on Har HaBayit over Pesah

Thousands of Jews went up to Har HaBayith during Chol HaMoed in ritual purity. Although I was not able to go up during the festive time, I went earlier this month.

Rav Dov Lior, Chief Rabbi of Kiryat Arba, went up and called for easier access for all Jews and that our sovereignty should be reasserted over the site.

May it soon be so--in time for Korban Pesah next year--with soft matzoth, some romaine lettuce, a dash of charif and some hummous and tehina.

It is the same Orthodox Rabbis who are against going up to Har Habayit for no good reason who are so against putting the Galut minhag of kitniyot behind us
in time for Korban Pesah next year?

Why next year? Why not THIS year on Pesach Sheini?
It is obvious that even if the Yishmaelim were to have left Har HaBayith on Isru Chag, we wouldn't have enough time to locate the site of the mizbeach.

The paperwork for excavation would take weeks and either Peace Now or the Neturei Kitniyos would probably appeal to Israel Supreme Court of Injustice to prevent it.

Even were we to quickly get through the paperwork, we couldn't go digging and rummaging like a bull in a china shop. The excavation would have to be methodical in order that we wouldn't destroy evidence or holy artifacts.

Eliahu-I find that many religious Jews in our generation are beset by neuroses which prevent them from acknowledging the possibility that other halachic approaches may also be correct?

Also, are you claiming that all the other rabbis who support the psak are also retarded? I think not.
